Refund policy

1. General Policy
  • Returns are valid for 14 days from the date you receive your order.
  • All items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging with swing tags attached.
  • Shoes and bulky items must be returned inside a protective box or satchel. Failure to do so may result in the return being refused.

3. Shipping Costs for Returns
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise stated under a selected Footwear Fit Protect option.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If a manufacturing defect is confirmed after inspection, reimbursement of return shipping may be considered.
4. Packaging Requirements
  • Items must be returned in original packaging and repacked in a satchel or box with all swing tags and marketing material included.
  • Missing tags, damaged packaging, or unboxed footwear may result in repackaging fees or rejection of the return.
5. Refund Processing
  • All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
  • If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 2–3 business days.
  • If a return is rejected, the reason will be provided and the item may be returned to the customer at their expense.
6. Restocking Fee
  • A 10% restocking fee applies to returns due to change of mind or incorrect size purchase.
  • This fee does not apply if a Footwear Fit Protect option was selected at checkout.
7. Exchanges (Online Orders)
  • To maintain accurate inventory and faster order processing, we do not process direct exchanges for items purchased online.
  • If you require a different size or item, return the original item following this policy and place a new order online once your return is approved.
In-Store Exchanges (Local Customers)
  • Customers local to our Moorabbin store may exchange items in person provided the item is unused, tags and packaging are intact, and the request is within the 14-day return window.
  • All exchanges remain subject to stock availability.
8. Footwear Fit Protect Options
  • Customers may select a Footwear Fit Protect tier at checkout. If no option is selected, Fit Protect Basic (standard returns) applies.
  • Fit Protect Basic – $0: Standard return policy applies. Customer pays all return and reshipping costs.
  • Fit Protect Lite – $11: Includes a prepaid return label. Store credit issued for the item value once approved.
  • Fit Protect Flex – $19: Includes a prepaid return label and one size exchange shipment (same product) once the original item is returned, subject to stock availability.
  • Fit Protect Plus – $25: Includes a prepaid return label and full refund once the item is returned in original condition.
  • All Fit Protect fees are non-refundable and apply per order.
9. Product Faults & Warranty Framework
  • Indigo Workwear takes genuine manufacturing defects seriously. However, not all issues reported as faulty qualify as product defects.
  • A product may only be considered faulty if a manufacturing defect existed at the time of purchase and affects the structural integrity or intended performance of the product.
What Does NOT Qualify as a Fault
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, or environmental exposure.
  • Improper care or cleaning.
  • Comfort issues or personal preference.
  • Incorrect sizing.
  • Minor cosmetic imperfections.
  • Industry-standard size variation (2–4%).
  • Product breakdown due to heavy trade use.
  • Colour variations caused by lighting, photography, or production batches.
  • Differences between product images and actual colour due to screen or device settings.
Fault & Warranty Reporting Process
  • Email orders@indigoworkwear.com.au with clear photos of the issue, a brief description, and your order number.
  • Our customer service team will review the information and advise the next steps.
  • If required, the item must be returned to our store for inspection.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending items for warranty or fault assessment.
  • Prepaid return labels are not provided for warranty inspections.
Warranty Coverage
  • Warranty coverage varies by brand and is determined at the brand’s discretion. Not all brands provide manufacturer warranties.
  • If a claim is approved, the remedy will follow the brand’s policy, which may include repair, replacement, or store credit/gift card to the approved value.
  • If a claim is rejected, the item may be returned to the customer at their expense.
10. Important Acknowledgement
  • By purchasing from Indigo Workwear, customers acknowledge that fault claims require inspection, brand approval may be required, and warranty outcomes are not solely determined by Indigo Workwear.
